Blitz Card Game
Covers the entire globe on one large (approx 910mm x 560 mm/36'x22') map of the world with area-based movement covering every theater of the war (Europe, N Africa, Pacific, E. Asia, N Atlantic, etc.) Blitz! A World in Conflict is a stand-alone boxed game. Say “Blitz” if you have 31 points in your hand at any time during the game. A hand worth 31 points is known as a “blitz,” and it’s an automatic win for that round. A player can say “Blitz” at any point during the game, even if it’s not their turn. Here’s how to play Blitz: Deal three cards to each player. Place the remaining cards in a pile face down on the table. The goal of Blitz is to collect three cards of the same suit that add up to 31, or as close as possible to 31 without going over. Dutch Blitz is an action-packed, fast-paced game played with 4 decks of cards that have 40 cards in each deck. The game can be played with 2-4 players, or up to 8 players if you have a special expansion pack. To play Dutch Blitz, start by having each player select a deck to play with. Then, each player can form their Post Piles and Blitz Pile. It takes two to seven people to play the card game 31, which also goes by the names Big Tonka, Blitz, Scat and Cadillac. The goal of the game is to get a hand of suited cards to add up closer to 31 points than your opponents. Aces count as 11 points, face cards count as 10 points and the remaining cards count as their.
A few things to note here. First, it is technically not legal to play with both hands. Many people pick up one card with one hand, play it, and have another one in their other hand to play as soon as the first hand comes back.
Second, do not underestimate the power of stacking. It is incredibly useful for moving high numbers off of your Blitz pile. It is almost more useful when playing two-person teams. When playing your deck by yourself, it's hard to get the time to evaluate whether stacking is an option. I would not recommend stacking numbers lower than a 5 or 6 unless the next card in the Blitz pile is one you have a spot for.
